BAKUDEKU FICS
KATSUKI WHUMP
Migraines and Emotional Pains
Leonidas1754
Bakugo gets migraines often, resulting in going home early and Midoriya taking care of him. Said migraines also often result in thinking too much about himself and Midoriya, and how much he simply doesn't deserve Midoriya's love. Thankfully, Midoriya still knows how to handle him.

Bakugou is just so exhausted, and he needs someone who takes care of him. y'all already know who it is.
all the things beyond one's control
aideyn
Izuku has seen heroes lose control of themselves due to a villain's quirk. Loss of inhibitions, suggestions, puppetry, and full-on mind control. It's a big battle in the city center as a few heroes try and keep the controlled person from doing real damage while everyone else looks for the real culprit. It's never like this. It's not supposed to look like a quiet night at home with his husband where he's trapped inside himself, internally screaming for Katsuki to notice something is wrong.

"No one's coming for you, Katsuki."
And that, he thinks in between his attempts to breathe, is the greatest truth of all.
So he does everything himself, regardless of how many pieces fall off in the process.

Nothing is scarier than the anger of a gentle man, especially if that anger is fueled by love.
The emergency code Class 1-A created to deal with Izuku getting angry on Katsukis behalf and the time it failed spectacularly.

At that moment, Katsuki's heart shattered into a million pieces. As he stared unseeingly at Deku kneeling before Uraraka, a black, sleek box in his hands, Katsuki knew that his life was over.

Katsuki's on the ground, lying face-up broken and bleeding, but he still sighs with relief when he sees the green lighting dissipate. Because it means Izuku's himself again, means the damn quirk finally wore off and it's over. Bakugou's breath catches in his throat as he fights through the pain, red eyes searching through the smoke and debris until they meet green, and...

Class 1-A are tired of Bakugou’s rowdy attitude and beg for him to calm down. When all else fails they resort to sneakily slipping him a pill that will slow his heart down in hopes it’ll make him relax. Little did they know that his fast beating heart was what was keeping him alive. What happens when Midoriya wakes up to find his boyfriend unresponsive.

Bakugou has never been a fan of interviews, but he really thought that this one would increase his chances of getting close to his dream of becoming the number one hero. From revealing about his unrequited love to almost being killed in a villain attack, Bakugou hasn't had the best of days after that interview. But what will happen once an accident causes him to become amnesiac? More importantly, how will he handle being around his unrequited love; a freckled Pro Hero who refuses to leave his side after said accident?

Izuku watches him approach. He weeps silently, his throat raw and aching for the name that wants to spill from his lips. Kacchan. When victory comes in the most unexpected form. And how everyone reacts afterwards.
The Calm After The Storm
linkiezz
Katsuki Bakugou was sitting on the hospital bed, gazing at the world through the large windows, the moonlight illuminating his beautiful face that was tilted away from the door. And Izuku was frozen. Is this real, or was he dreaming again? Should he leave? Should he say something? Did Kacchan want him to be here? "You’re just gonna stand there like that?”
Katsuki wakes up from a coma after winning the war against All For One and realizes that he is in love with his Childhood best friend.

“Izuku!” His voice is raspy, and his right cheek and eye sting at the sudden pull.
“Izuku,” he repeats more softly, looking to Jeanist - as if Izuku’s name was question and answer enough.
“You need to lie back, Bakugou. You’re severely injured. You can’t move around like this.”
“Like hell,” he grits out. He knows Best Jeanist is right. But there's this growing sense of unease in him, and a rather high humming energy that tells him he needs to get to Izuku.

It’s not that he doesn’t understand. He understands fine. All things considered, Izuku leaving UA is a logical next step. But that’s exactly the part of it that Katsuki hates— Izuku has never valued logic over emotion in these kinds of scenarios.
Izuku has never valued logic over Katsuki. They’re a team. Though he’ll never say it, that’s just the way it is, was, and will be. Izuku and Katsuki. Midoriya and Bakugou. Deku and Kacchan. He’s bright on his own, sure, but always burns a little brighter with Izuku at his side.
what you hide controls you
nitroglycerin_and_paraffin (candleshopmenace)
Dropping the edge of his shirt, letting the fabric cover his ribs and hide the mottled bruises from view, Katsuki decides, “I’m fucked.” That admittance forces a laugh out of him, dry and humorless and ringing hollowly through his empty room. He’s alone, both literally and figuratively. It's not as if he could tell anybody. He couldn’t even tell his parents, because his mother would just find some way to make it his fault, and his father would agree with her because that’s all he ever did.
Katsuki repeats, “I’m fucked,” and laughs again, louder, like it's funny. Like all of this - the ache of his chest and the pain that flares through it with every breath he takes - is nothing but one big joke, and he’s the punchline. That’s all he feels like, anymore. There are some injuries that you just can’t walk off.
Cold Feet

When Katsuki gets hit in the head at work, there's no one better to take care of him than Izuku, the man who knows him best in the world.

Katsuki grumbles, "idiot's too nice for his own good." Really, he's made peace with it. He never expected Izuku to forgive him, or even want to stay in the same room as him for longer than two seconds. The fact that they're actually becoming close friends again is more than Katsuki could have dared to hope for. But somehow, even though he's been telling himself the that for months, something still shatters to pieces inside his chest when he looks up and sees Izuku tucked against Shinso's side. In which Izuku tries to make Katsuki jealous, but Katsuki doesn't react the way he expects.
Crying my Heart Out

He knows he’s rude and blunt and maybe he doesn’t always express the way he feels in a way people actually understand- But that’s not his f*cking problem! Katsuki gets hit with a quirk that makes him cry when he’s around someone he cares about.
Sometimes You Have To Lose In Order To Win

Katsuki isn't rescued at Kamino, and the League decides they are going to work extra hard to convince him to join their cause. Katsuki isn't going to have a good time. "So, are you ready to join us yet, or do you require more… hands on convincing, Katsuki?” The blonde growled, bucking his body towards Dabi as if he could bite the hand aimed for him. He desperately wanted to bite the offending limb off with his bare fucking teeth, and if he had this damn gag out, he might very well have done just that. F*CK YOU! Katsuki screamed in his head, willing his face to portray that exact sentiment. Dabi seemed to understand when he gave an exasperated sigh and pressed a hand to his temple. “Fine - hands on it is.” Dabi growled right back at Katsuki.

The pain blooms on his throat this time as the characters that write the answer carve themselves into his skin. It doesn’t feel like a scalpel cutting through his skin this time. Nor does it feel like his skin is breaking on its own after being stretched too thin. Instead, the experience is akin to having his throat literally shredded, as if a million of tiny, jagged claws or teeth are digging into his flesh and pulling at it to brand him with the words. This time, Katsuki screams.
Katsuki is captured by villains who want to expose him as a 'false hero' (as per Stain's ideology) and use a truth serum-like quirk to do it.

What if the third OVA ("Make It! Do-or-Die Survival Training") had gone a little differently, and Bakugo's injuries were worse than Todoroki and Deku had feared? Trapped underground with an uncooperative, disoriented blond, they're forced to make do with what little they have.

Over their months at UA, this sort of Deku-Dynamite rivalry among fans has started to rise. Most people who like Izuku tend to hate Kacchan, for some inexplicable reason (well, maybe a little explicable, but still). Kacchan gets a ridiculous amount of bad press for the sports festival, being kidnapped by the League, and causing the downfall of All Might. Which, first of all, they shouldn’t have tied him up at the sports festival in the first place. And who blames the person who got kidnapped for their own kidnapping? The press hates Katsuki. Izuku hates the press. So when the press goes too far, Izuku is going to be there for Katsuki.

He finds it disturbingly easy, pushing Deku out of the way.
Fortunately, he’s too busy getting torn in half by a Nomu to really dwell on this particularly horrifying realization. Bakugo nearly dies saving Deku. It really challenges the stable routine they'd managed to work out during their past three years at Yuuei.

“Kacchan?” he breathed in question, his own eyes deceiving him. Further down, his hands where pressed into his side, drenched in more blood than Izuku knew could even be in a human, feebly trying to stop the flow around a piece of rebar that was sticking through his flesh. His mind went blank, silent. The pain that he’d had from his own injuries seemed to just disappear in that moment, and terror and nausea and every bad emotion he could imagine flooded his body. People were coming. He could hear the sirens and the shouting, heroes and first responders probably, and he knew he should move, should scream, should do something, but he couldn’t. Izuku was frozen in place, unable to breathe. “D-Deku.”

It's been more than a month since Bakugou Katsuki was kidnapped by the League of Villains. They took him and then disappeared without a trace, leaving no clues behind, no trails to follow, nothing but a pool of blood underneath a chair still draped with chains. The last time the world saw him, Bakugou Katsuki was loud and brash and sixteen years old. And now he will always be loud and brash and sixteen years old, frozen in time, never aging. He will have no more birthdays, will claim no more victories, and will never live his dreams out to their fullest potential. Because he’s dead.

Izuku was so sure that he knew Katsuki's motivations, his reasons for the way he acted and the things he said. It wasn't until they both went missing that he realised just how wrong about the blond he was.

"The first night Izuku was shocked. He didn't know what to say or do. It was awkward and he was so scared to do something wrong. The second night was less awkward, but he was still confused. After a week, he was finally able to get a whispered explanation. After a month, it was a regular part of his routine. Dinner, shower, get dressed, go to sleep, get awoken by Kacchan, welcome him into his bed, stroke his hair until he falls asleep, then be lulled to sleep himself by Kacchan's breathing."

He stared at Izuku’s face while the nerd mumbled away, his voice sounding far away and muffled. He could feel droplets of sweat falling from his face and running down every part of his skin. It felt like he was simultaneously on fire and submerged in an icy lake with how hard he was shivering. A thought flickered through his head, telling him that maybe, just maybe, he should really, probably, very much consider going to Recovery Girl just about now.
Show Me Your Teeth
Ikira
A villain attack leaves Katsuki under the effects of a vampire-like quirk that will slowly drive him mad if he is unable to consume enough blood to satiate his hunger. While that might seem like a dire situation to some, Class 1-A are more than up to the challenge to take care of their classmate, whether he wants them to or not. What's a little blood drinking between friends, right? Only, things don't seem so straightforward when it comes to Izuku. For some reason, when Katsuki bites him, his reaction is a bit more...intense compared to everyone else. And Katsuki finds that Izuku isn't the only one who enjoys it when it's his turn to be bitten...

He didn’t want to die. Not like this. Not in Midoriya’s arms, not leaving him with the weight of his guilt, of not knowing how bad it really was, of not being able to save him. Bakugo couldn’t stand the thought of Midoriya blaming himself, of seeing that haunted, broken look in his eyes, the one that said he’d failed the person he loved the most.

A week after Izuku stops talking to Katsuki over a fight about self-preservation, Jirou calls with a mission for him - a mission that Katsuki ends up taking instead. What no one expected was for Katsuki to make the sacrifice play for a civilian, like he criticized Izuku for doing. Or for him to get stuck inside an air pocket that is quickly filling up with water.

Lida sucks in a breath and Katsuki realizes with a pang of something he won’t admit is fear that the other hero is struggling to stay conscious. “He’s lost control. Some. Some sort of mind control quirk.”
“Lost control how?” His mind is flooding with images, memories of those finite moments when Deku unleashed in a blind rage. “He’s trying to kill us.”
